And I'm back from a very long vacation and I've got some great new ideas! This month's vinyl night will be on September 24th at my home in Seattle. If you aren't able to make it to the vinyl night to make these fun projects you may still order them. Either leave a comment on this blog, facebook me, or email me at cmwarner03@hotmail.com. You are more than welcome to pass this blog along to friends if you think they may be interested in these projects or in getting any vinyl lettering done.
Here are the projects:
First up is this adorable name plaque. It's main purpose is to hold hair bows, but it could be used to hold pictures on the ribbons as an alternative. Or you can just use it as a name plaque without the ribbon. Also available is a boy's plaque (not pictured), it would be just a rectangle piece of wood without the black iron scroll and no ribbon, but attached to the bottom of it would be hooks for hats, and a different font for the name, of course. There are many colors to choose from. I have black, brown, light blue, orange, lavender, yellow, red, dark red, light brown, pink, dark pink, and green. The name plaques are priced at $25.
Second is this 16x20 inch calendar frame. The blank calendar is on the glass part of the frame and you use a dry erase marker to write in the month, days and activities going on. You may hang it on a wall just the way it is or put scrapbook paper behind it for a different look. The calendar frame is priced at $35 and includes a dry erase marker.
Third is a set of halloween magnets. You can get them in either black or white. The black magnets are priced at $7 and then white magnets are priced at $5.
Hope you like this month's projects and hope to see you at vinyl girl's night out!

Father's Day Frame
Here is the perfect Father's Day gift! An 11x14 inch black frame with a 5x7 picture opening. If you have boys and girls the frame will be as pictured below. If you only have girls, I can make the frame so that "DAD" would be right above the picture and "a daughter's first Love" would be right below the picture. If you have only boys, I will do that same so that "DAD" would be right above the picture and "a son's first Hero" would be right below the picture. Please indicate which way you would like it when you email me @ cmwarner03@hotmail.com The cost for the frame is $20 and you can pay either cash or check payable to Melissa Warner. Get it early! I will be going out of town June 4th, so all orders must be in by May 30th.

Mother's Day Quote Frame
Ok everyone, this is a mother's gift idea. Whether you give it to your mom, your sister, a daughter or a friend, the quote will mean so much to them. The quote is, "To the world you are a mother, but to your family you are the world." The frame is 7x7 and you can get either black or white. A selection of paper backgrounds are pictured. You may choose from one of these papers or use your own paper to match your mom's decor. The lettering can be in the following colors, black, white, beige, dark brown, light brown, pink, light blue, red, green, lavender, or yellow. The frame is $10.

FINALLY! I finished the welcome sign!
April's project will be this welcome sign. The frame has double glass so you can insert whichever theme you want inside. There are 12 different inserts we'll be making for the frame. You can put this frame on the outside of your home or to keep it from getting weathered you can put it in your entry way. The project is $40 and would make a great gift for Mother's day or save it for a birthday gift or Christmas. It's a lasting investment and very cute too!
An evite will be sent out soon to my Seattle customers, but anyone is welcome to order the frame.

January 2009 vinyl project!
We're getting closer to Valentine's day already. I thought it would be fun to do some valentine decor. Here are the ideas...
The valentine stacker blocks are $10 for each set...the ribbon will be different than the ribbon in the picture.
The magnet sets will be a set of 6 for $5 Here is the updated photo of the magnet sets that will be offered on vinyl night. Please choose red or pink and how many you would like in your RSVP, thanks!
Both of these projects are very cute to put in your own home and they are also great for gifts. Remember, if you cannot make it to vinyl craft night, you can still get the kits to make these projects or you may have me make them for you for $2 extra each product.
Hope to see you there!!!
